Dear Resident, I realise I haven't sent out a message on here in a while, so wanted to update you on some of the more interesting things I've been up to over the past 4 shifts. Some of which include: Arresting an individual for numerous high risk domestic related offences. They were then further arrested after class A & B drugs were found in their car.Arresting another individual for sexual assault and Section 4B public order. The Section 4B offence is one of the newest offences created by the government to combat sexual based harassment.3 individuals stopped and searched using Section 23 misuse of drug acts. A small quantity of cannabis located on two of the persons and these were dealt with by out of court disposals.Assisted Swale Neighbourhood Task Force with the arrest of an individual for possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon. Searches were carried out at the home address but no further drugs were located.My colleagues and I will be continuing to check Barton's Point, The Glen and Scrapsgate for nuisance vehicles. Please continue to report these wherever they are seen around the island as it aids us with trying to identify the drivers and seize their vehicles. Hope you have a great summer.
